Science has shown us that Cabernet Sauvignon is a
hybrid of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc and
the best qualities of the parents have been passed on
to the child. The typical cab will have a nose and flavor of Cab Franc's
current, blackberry and cherry as well as Savignon Blanc's
bell pepper, green olives, asparagus,
and other earthy compliments.
